Impact Design Software
Outstanding design tools are available in the feature-rich Designer and entry-level Designer Lite versions of Impact and provide a unique drawing experience for structural designers of all skill levels, helping them to conquer even the most complex of projects with ease.
Impact's View & Enquire features mean that the nightmare of data storage and retrieval is transformed into a fast and efficient process. You can generate production specific statistical data - such as total rule length and material waste values - ensuring that you have all the information you need to drive estimating accuracy up, inefficiency and waste down.
Impact design applications come complete with a comprehensive library of re-usable packaging and display design styles (including corrugated/FEFCO and folding carton/ECMA variations). Designers can choose from a large selection of industry specific drawings and mix and match styles to produce designs and concepts in a matter of seconds.
Packaging design is as much about experimentation and presentation as it is imagination and Impact's 3D Creator feature allows you to combine all three. 2D to 3D conversion is quick and easy and designers have all the tools they need to refine their work, reduce errors, and spend less time at the sample table. With Impact you can import and design around 3D solid objects, create web-ready graphics, produce detailed assembly instructions and animated video sequences.
Impact's Layout Creator feature enables you to optimise press capacity by automatically inter-locking single or composite designs to achieve maximum sheet utilisation with minimum waste.
Impact will integrate into virtually any design and production workflow via a host of industry standard import/export data exchange filters and plotter/ machine drivers, and is available in English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Polish and Simplified Cantonese language versions.
