Following immediately after the official release of IADD's new Can-Am Braille standard, Arden Software reinforces its position as a market leader for diemaking solutions with full support for this new standard in Impact 2010 3D TruView, due for release later this year.
Due to the unique and flexible nature of having a fully integrated database, Impact is the only packaging design application to offer full support for both Can-AM Braille, Marburg Medium (the Braille standard used throughout Europe and much of the world) as well as Braille for dialects across Asia.
The display of Braille in packaging design virtual prototypes significantly reduces the time and cost in customer approval for what is becoming much more commonplace in retail packaging as well as the more traditional pharmaceutical market.

Being able to see the location and effect of Braille in register with the printed artwork allows customers to ensure there is no distortion to important dosage instructions, product ingredients or branding due to poor placement.
As well as aiding the approval of design through visualisation of the packaging, Impact is the only die manufacturing application successfully driving automated tooling for the production of embossing dies throughout the world's largest diemakers.
