It is the ethos of Arden Software to include all innovations within its core products without the need for customers who have already invested with us to have to pay again for feature enhancements.  This is one of the key reasons why our customers take our Software Maintenance Contracts (contact info@ardensoftware.com for further information about Software Maintenance Contracts).

Fastest Design Approval

Impact 3D View has long been used to assist in the design approval process by allowing customers to view and interact with the packaging design in a virtual 3D environment using the Impact Viewer.  Impact 3D TruView truly replaces the need for samples for approval with its ability to give the customer an interactive TruView of the design.

An Unlimited Library of Holographic Foils

Impact 3D TruView offers the most comprehensive library of holographic foils from a range of the world's leading suppliers of hot and cold-stamping foils.  In addition, Impact is unique in being able to allow designers to create and add their own library of holographic foils due to the advantages of a truly database driven packaging design system.

Stunning and instant effects for all packaging and greetings card applications.

Another feature of Impact 3D TruView is that results are instant with no extra effort for the designer.

Embossing and Debossing

The effect achievable by embossing or debossing can be stunning and will add significantly to the perceived quality and value of the packaging.  Impossible to reproduce on a sample maker, Impact's 3D TruView feature realistically reproduces embossed packaging at no extra cost.

Embossing can be visualised instantly through the use of the source artwork or by easy to use tools within the 2D drawing layer giving you perfect and realistic results at the click of a button.  There is no manipulation of artwork or textures in 3D making involved and it is so easy to use that there is no training required at all.

Look inside the box and see the reverse embossing on the inside for a TruView of embossed packaging!

Foil and Metallic Board

Impact 3D TruView is shipped with a library of hot and cold-stamping foils and there is nothing that adds more shelf-appeal to your design.

Where the covering of foil becomes impractical, Impact supplies a comprehensive library of metallic board.

As well as every conceivable colour, Impact 3D TruView offers the full range of foiling styles: flat, textured, fluted and sculptured and every possible combination in between.

Braille

It's impossible to reproduce Braille using a sample maker.  Impact 3D TruView accurately displays Braille to Marburg Medium standard, including regional variations using a unique and simple method which requires no additional work by the designer.  The creation and display of Braille in Impact is quick and simple as well as fully featured with complete control over dot pitch, cell spacing and even dot height, all achieved automatically making Impact Braille flexible as well as easy to use.  Converting the 2D design to a detailed 3D TruView depicting the Braille in position takes seconds.

The positioning of Braille can be very important as it distorts the board and therefore the artwork printed on the packaging, making text difficult to read or distorting other aspects of the artwork.  The display of Braille in Impact TruView is yet another aspect of this new feature that speeds the approval process up and reduces later production problems.

Varnish and Varnish Free Areas

UV, gloss, matt or silk, you can't simulate it on a sample, but you can view it with Impact 3D TruView.

Varnish coatings can not only be used to define varnish free areas for glueing and 'best before' and other areas that require printing after production, but also for creating patterns and spot varnishes to enhance the presentation of your design.  All can be viewed from within Impact's 3D TruView feature.

Any spot varnish or varnish-free area can be easily drawn within the 2D geometry layer or imported as the original artwork for more complicated and intricate patterns. The full support for specialist chemically etched varnish blankets is also included.

Real Board Textures

Based on the material you choose for your design, the precise properties of the board are displayed in Impact 3D TruView.  This is regardless of the type of board, folding carton, carrier board, white lined chipboard, litho-laminate or unlimited variations of corrugated board; all are truly represented right down to the depth of the corrugated fluting.

Have you ever manufactured a corrugated design based on an approved sample which looks perfect but the finished design has a washboarding effect which has been rejected by your customer?  Impact 3D TruView eradicates this common problem by displaying the real world appearance of the board.

Rule Definition - cuts, creases, perfs, scores, cut/crease, zippers...

Not just restricted to displaying creases correctly, Impact 3D TruView accurately displays ALL rule types, including reverse scores and creases automatically.  The display of the rule definition in Impact 3D TruVuew not only makes the 3D model look more realistic, as with all Impact developments, there are practical uses as well.  Not just restricting you to viewing the design with the zipper or perf rule, Impact 3D TruView allows you to literally tear off panels leaving behind the same torn edges you would get on a real sample!  Your customer may like the look of the design with a panel in place but not like the look of the exposed torn edge once a panel is removed.

All new features of Impact 3D TruView that are instantly achievable with no extra effort for the designer.

Impact 3D TruView, the most feature rich, easy to use 3D visualisation product on the market.
